This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Shayla Bessette who was born in
Louisiana on July 07, 2008 and passed away on September 26, 2008 . We will remember her forever.
She lived a very short life, but in her life she touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of
holding and seening her smile.
She is so very missed. She just started to really smile at you, she was almost starting to giggle,
it was there but she just couldnt get it out. She loved to be held, as all babies do.
Shayla was a true Angel that truly changed my life for the better. She opend my eyes to things I
need to change about myself. Some tell me that was her mission in her short life, but I just dont
see it. God didnt have to take her from me.
She loved her sister Kailey, Madison and her Brother Gavin. they miss her so much, Gavin talks to
her everynight after he says his nite nite prayers. Even though out the day I will hear him talk to
her.
She was just getting to where you could put her on her tummy and she would hold her head up and look
around, but only for a few.
She was a very good baby, starting sleeping thru the nights at about 2 weeks, She was my bed buddy,
and I miss her so much!
She and her Daddy would play this game where he would click his toung and she would just open her
mouth wide and smile. There are pics of them playing.
She is a true Angel, I miss her so, I wish there was something I could do to get her back
She has brought me closer to the Lord and Im no longer scared of whats to come, because I know I
will hold her in Heaven very soon. Untill then the pain will never leave my heart.

I want to thank everyone of you guys who have left me such soothing words. Shayla was a Angel in life and now in her death she is a true Angel with wings.
mummy dont you cry for me, i didnt go so far, look up in the sky tonight im that shining star. i watch you when your crying, and when you cannot sleep, im always sat right by you, i wish you wouldnt weep. it makes me sad to see you, when you think i am not there, im always here mummy, dont say it isnt fair. i miss you too my mummy, but jesus needed me, i can see you mummy, i wish you could see me. i am a little angel, i have some special wings, theres lots of toys up here, lots of lovely things. i really really like it, and jesus says one day, you will come to heaven to be with me every day. but untill that day arrives, please try to get some sleep, try to know im ok, try not to sit and weep. ive got to go now mummy, lots of work to do! but please remember mummy, your shayla does love you xx
Im so sorry for your loss, i lost my little boy 9 months ago and know how hard it is to get through each day. She is such a cutie she will be flying high with my Jake playing in gods garden and she will be watching over you from now till you are together again all my love to you and your family Jake Younger's mammy xxxxx

hi i know you dont know me, but i saw your little princess and i really wanted to say how beautiful she is and how sorry i am for you. i know nothing anyone says can make you feel better, but she is your guardian angel now, i truly believe that. i have children myself, i cant imagine what it would be like without them i love them so much. what a beautiful song you chose for her memorial by the way. my sister lost her baby a couple of years ago, he was 3 days old, i didnt know what to say to her and i dont really know what to say to you, just how truly sorry i am. i hope your angel rests well and enjoys her new home, she will never forget you, as you will never forget her. i will add her to my garden and light a candle every night and day, god bless you all xxx
